HQ: Would you look a gift horse in the mouth?

HQ: Larry pays $500 per month child support for his 2 year old son. His son’s mother Lisa sometimes struggles to pay her rent & bills. Larry’s mom passes & he inherits her paid for 20yr old home, in good condition in a good neighborhood, worth $150k. Larry already owns his home. He offers Lisa his mom’s house if she takes him off child support. Lisa thinks he should still have to pay SOMETHING whenever she asks for her son, even if he GIVES her a free place to LIVE OR SELL (legally signed over to her) if she chooses. Is Lisa being greedy & foolish or is she correct?
