HQ: Do parents need to introduce their significant others?

HQ: Janice & Cedric are divorced. When Janice got a boyfriend, she told Cedric about him & introduced him at their 9yr old daughter’s track meet. They have all gotten along well since. Cedric has a girlfriend he’s been seeing for a long while. Their daughter has met her, but Cedric hasn’t discussed or introduced her to Janice. When Janice questioned him, he said it was none of her business. Is Janice wrong for feeling parentally disrespected?
